The youth fishing ponds are now open for youth fishing until the end of October. They have been stocked and will be restocked regularly over the next three months. They will be closed again on 1 November for maintenance and weed removal and for the carrying out of guided fishout days for youth. They will be open again on the 15th of December. Hopefully the recent rains have not done any damage but users should be cautious around the tracks. The weather looks good for the Matariki weekend , after the frosts have cleared :)
